FURIA defeat CR4ZY to win Arctic Invitational

FURIA managed a 2-0 victory over CR4ZY (16-11 Vertigo, 16-9 Mirage) in the grand final of the Arctic Invitational to claim the trophy and the majority of the ~$110,000 prize pool.
The semi-finals of the invitational tournament in Helsinki, Finland, saw FURIA take down Cloud9 with relative ease, 2-0, while CR4ZY had a much tougher time against the local team SJ, edging them out 2-1.
The grand final kicked off on Vertigo, FURIA's map pick, with Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas grabbing four frags to set his team up for a 2-0 lead. Winning the first buy thanks to Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato's quad kill gave FURIA the momentum back, and saw them grab eight unanswered rounds. In the next one KSCERATO showed up once again, clutching a 1v3 and boosting his K-D up to 16-3.
FURIA got up to 11 rounds before CR4ZY forced their way into B, but the Serbian side only managed a 12-3 half. Retaking the A bombsite in the pistol was key to giving CR4ZY a chance in the game, allowing them to mount a comeback attempt. FURIA's A approaches were successful in the latter part of the half, with Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač and co. keeping the dream alive by winning an eco round at 14-7. However, FURIA kept on the pressure and, eventually, CR4ZY's A site defense cracked once again and the Brazilian side secured the win on their map pick,16-11.

CR4ZY had a much better start to Mirage, going up 6-1 quickly on the Terrorist side. The Brazilian side replied with three rounds of their own, but just when they began stringing rounds together, EspiranTo found three kills with the scout to swing things back his team's way (7-4).
After finishing the first half with a 9-6 lead, CR4ZY was unable to hold off the B push in the pistol, and KSCERATO salvaged a 1v3 in the following anti-force round to see FURIA equalize the score, 9-9. The Brazilian side continued with their fast pace in the following rounds and repeatedly found success, taking a 13-9 lead.
FURIA continued edging out close round, keeping a perfect record on the Terrorist side to go up 15-9. In the final round, Andrei "arT" Piovezan broke into the B bombsite and set up his teammates for another clutch, making the final score 16-9, 2-0 for the series.
